01

Social Media

Pick your platform. These are the sizes that render sharply on every device in 2026.

02

Documents & Presentations

For anything you print, share as a PDF, or present on screen.

03

Marketing & Print

Flyers, posters, business cards, and banners — sized for print.

💡
The Golden Rule
Canva measures in points (pt) but displays at screen resolution. The minimum readable body text in Canva is 14pt on screen. For anything that will be printed, use at least 10pt. Below 8pt becomes illegible in print.

Why Your PDF Text Looks Different in Canva
PDF points and Canva points are not the same unit. A PDF is set at 72 DPI. Canva works at approximately 96 DPI screen resolution. This means the same number looks 33% smaller in Canva than in a PDF. Always multiply PDF sizes by 1.33 when recreating in Canva.

The Formula

🔢
The Conversion Rule
PDF pt × 1.33 = Canva pt
Canva pt ÷ 1.33 = PDF pt

Example: 8pt body text in a PDF → 8 × 1.33 = 10.6pt in Canva (round to 11pt)
Example: 36pt heading in a PDF → 36 × 1.33 = 48pt in Canva
